MEN OF CRC: Take some time to enjoy an evening of fellowship and message on Friday, May 9, at 7:00 p.m. right here at CRC. Come hear speaker Jim Cater, CEO of Praxeis Group, discuss how to align our work ethic and our values with the message and purpose of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you haven’t been able to share the good times and Good News at one of our thee weekly Men’s Bible Studies, this is a great opportunity for you to jump in! Registration is just $5 per person. CRC to Visit Alhambra for "Jesus Christ Superstar"
CRC is going to the Alhambra Dinner Theatre! Come out with us as we enjoy CRC’s own Justin Murphy in the title role of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” on Sunday, May 18. When you attend, you’ll enjoy the popular musical and also help raise needed funds for the CRC Music Ministry. Doors open 12:00 p.m. Dinner served 12:15 p.m. -1:30 p.m. Show starts at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $47.00 per person, which includes the show, the buffet, and gratuity. Tickets will be on sale at the Resource Center on Sunday mornings through Sunday, May 11 (final day, NO EXCEPTIONS); cash, check and credit/debit card are accepted. KidQuest Volunteers Needed
If you have a heart for children and the ability to keep an accurate list, then you should look into the current opening in KidQuest. We need two people to help check in kids at their classrooms on Sunday mornings. Available time slots are 8:45 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. with our first and second graders, and 10:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. with our third through fifth graders. These are weekly service opportunities, so you’ll really have the chance to invest your spirit in service to our youngsters. CRC Women's Softball Ministry Fundraiser This Sunday
Support the CRC Women’s Softball Ministry when you score one of the delicious goodies at their fundraising bake sale in The Lobby on Sunday, May 4. Not only can you get a scrumptious treat to nibble on, you can also take a minute and meet some of our players and pick up a schedule of upcoming games. All games are free and open to the public.

Only a Few "Summer Fun" Spots Left
Our Summer Fun is a “mini” preschool program with playground time, snacks, crafts, bible stories, music, “Splash Days” (and more!) for children who will be 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2008, up through and including children who will be 6 years old by Sept. 1, 2008. To enroll in Summer Fun, your child must be completely potty-trained. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. Remember Your FWCS Baby Bottles!
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and CRC is again teaming up with First Coast Women’s Services for the Baby Bottle Boomerang! A few bottles are still available in The Resource Center. Then, from now until Mother’s Day, fill up the bottle with change, bills and checks. (NOTE: Please make all checks payable to FCWS.) Make sure to return your family’s bottle to us on Sunday, May 11.
