Teams
In
November 2002 a team from CrossRoad visited their
Sister Church at Tiburon, in the south of Haiti. The
team included Pastor Jerry and Carolyn Winkler, Greg
and Mary Stritch, Donna Roberts, Scott Dedrick and
Geri Bass. Julie Fleurinor from New Life Community
UMC in North Jacksonville was also a part of the team.
Activities on this trip included outreach and evangelism,
special children and women's program and a visit to
a neighboring church in Tappion.
In
October 2003, a second team visited our sister church
in Tiburon. Lead by Greg Stritch and Pastor Todd Morgan
and consisting of the following members of the singles
ministry of CrossRoad Church; Tamara Daniels, Meghan
Lisi, Amy Long, Kelli Lowery, Monica Walden, Lisa
and Scott Dedrick, Jeff Wheeler, Scott Hopkins, this
team put together a band and musical ensemble. They
took musical instruments and a sound system which
they left with the church in Tiburon. Activities on
this trip included two special concert and outreach
services, one in Tiburon and one in Tappion. The team
members also participated in the children and women's
program.
In November 2004, a team co-lead by Greg Stritch and
Scott Dedrick visited our sister church and brought
a special message to the children in Tiburon. The
team included; Christian and Julie Mckenna, Sarah
Spence, Marcus Stouffer, Scott Hopkins, Geri Bass
and Jennifer from Sunrise Church in Jacksonville Beach.
The group provided a special program for the school
children along with a spirit-lead women's service.
In addition the team toured the town and participated
in a outreach service.
In November 2005, a team co-lead by Greg Stritch and
Scott Dedrick visited our sister church and delivered
a special word of encouragement for the women of Tiburon.
The team included Pastor CJ Fluharty and his wife
Courtney, Marcus Stouffer, Geri Bass, Dawn Wood and
Lisa Dedrick. In addition to the special women's program
the team also participated in the children's program
and in an outreach/evangelism event.
