Sponsorships Due for "Adopted" Haitian Children
THERE ARE STILL 80 HAITIAN SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO NEED A SUPPORT COMMITMENT FROM CRC SPONSORS! It is time to collect the annual sponsorship money for your “adopted” children in Haiti. To continue your sponsorship, please mail your check, made out to CrossRoad, to Carolyn Winkler, and note “Haiti Hope for Kids” in the memo line. If you cannot continue to support your child, please let us know so we can find a new sponsor. We would like to get all our commitments in line and collect the donations as soon as possible to help our Sister Church with planning and budgeting for the coming school year. Casual Lunchtime Fellowship Scheduled for CRC Women
It’s the return of the Brown Bag Lunch! Come have a bite with ladies of CRC Women’s Ministry on Friday, Aug. 1 from 12:00 noon–1:00 p.m. in The Connection Center. Start Gathering School Supply Donations for Windy Hill Elementary
The first day of school is rapidly approaching, and our annual community outreach to the students, staff and faculty of neighboring Windy Hill Elementary School is getting ready to roll full force into a new school year. All Roadies with a heart for the education of children have the chance to supply real-world aid and Christ’s love to our nearly-next-door neighbors. Starting next Sunday, July 27, we will begin accepting donations of much-needed school supplies of all kinds, which may be dropped off at the WH Table in The Lobby through Sunday, Aug. 10. School’s out (and little Billy’s pet frog is safely at home) but our teachers still need and deserve our prayer support. We are currently taking roll call for the CRC’s 2008-09 Teachers Prayer Calendar.
