River of God

 

River of God is a non-profit organization established in 2006 that is committed to spreading the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to the mountain people of Costa Rica. Although this organization is relatively new, the work it supports has been the legacy of generations. 
CrossRoad Church works with and supports David Jones in his work with River of God in Costa Rica.  David explains that the mission of River of God is “To make disciples of Jesus in the mountains of Southeast Costa Rica. Our goal is to see a network of Christians throughout the Cabécar and Bribri tribe and to see the name of Jesus highly exalted throughout these mountains (Acts 19:17b). Our personal focus is mostly on the more isolated, remote areas where I believe God has given us special ability to work.”
